No matter the topic – from Trump’s possible impeachment to who will win the Champions League – we visualise the debate on top publishers’ sites in contextually relevant content and show people how their opinions compare with the crowd.

We’ve just raised our Series A from leading VCs and are building a team that will take our company to the next level. Could you be one of our stars?

As a key account manager you’ll work together with our most important brand clients and support them in creating content marketing strategies and successful Opinary campaigns. You’ll act as the first point of contact for decision makers in marketing and develop new business opportunities.

 

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You have a passion for digital communications and media and are an active contributor to debates around the topic of social media
  • You enjoy working together with top decision makers in the marketing and publishing industries
  • You have a passion for digital communication and media and are part of the debate on the future of marketing
  • You enjoy advising clients on creating and designing campaigns, and coordinating internally
  • You understand our mission and would like to represent us at marketing, media and startup conferences and events
  • You have 4+ years of experience working with marketing & communications executives in leading companies and agencies
  • You’re a digital native and know what constitutes effective digital communication
  • You’re a true team player and already experienced in putting projects together with colleagues

 

If you succeed in our selection process, you’ll work in our office in London and spend extensive time in our headquarters in Berlin. Our exciting, tech-driven team with diverse backgrounds (Oxford, Harvard, McKinsey, 8 nationalities) is looking forward to getting to know you.

As an editorial intern at Opinary you’ll become part of a team whose mission it is to give users a voice in online content. Maybe you’ve seen us already, for example in The Independent or HuffPost. You’ll learn the ins and outs of the digital publishing industry and work alongside highly experienced journalists and businesspeople, while digesting the news and empowering users to share their own view on key debates around the world.

Opinary is a Berlin-based startup that established a new way for users to share their opinion in online content. Our technology helps 60 million monthly users to share their view with a tap and understand opinion trends at a glance. Your role

  • Assist the English-language editorial team in poll creation, news aggregation, client communication and reporting results
  • Share responsibilities in social media management
  • Prepare information, documents, and presentations for client outreach and meetings
  • Assess the information provided in news stories and find the most hotly contested debates
  • Communicate with newsrooms in the UK and the USA
  • Analyse and provide data and insights to clients based on their user- and opinion trends 

Requirements

  • You are keen to learn more about online content/digital publishing
  • You want to work in a start-up atmosphere
  • You can speak and write in English to a high standard
  • You know how to present information in a visually pleasing way
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and communicate well in a business setting
  • You have a curious mind and a desire for continuous improvement
