After the successful integration of the Berlin-based media-tech start-up Opinary into Affinity Global Inc., a leading ad tech company headquartered in the US, the company is implementing a clear focus on growth and innovation through strategic new appointments in the management team.

Aneta Nowobilska, most recently Chief Product Officer of Axel Springer’s news app upday, has been strengthening the Affinity team as VP Europe + UK Publisher Alliances since January 1st. Her broad experience in the tech and digital publishing sector is used from Affinity’s Berlin office to expand the collaboration with European publishing partners. 

My vision is to establish Affinity’s products and build a highly qualified team to continue Affinity’s success story,” comments Nowobilska. 

Particular focus is on Affinity’s performance marketing platform VEVE, that brings native ad formats to OEMs, browsers and telcos.

Pia Frey, Co-founder of Opinary, has been named Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Affinity, marking another milestone for the company. Pia has built Opinary into a globally recognized user engagement platform and will leverage her passion for creativity and data to grow the Affinity brand.

Cornelius Frey, Co-founder and CEO of Opinary, is also taking on new responsibilities at Affinity Global Inc. to support the company in M&A and preparation for the IPO.

The new appointments to Affinity’s leadership team mark a key step in Affinity’s growth, focus on the European market and the seamless integration of Opinary into the company.
